You can see any doctor or nurse if you need family planning advice.

The pill is prescribed at normal consultations; diaphragm caps and intrauterine devices are usually fitted at special appointments.

Free condoms for under 25 year olds are available from the Dispensary.

Solent NHS Trust has designed a brand new bespoke website - www.letstalkaboutit.nhs.uk. It is an innovative site, where users can access full sexual health service information including all walk-in clinic times. Any changes to clinics are listed within the "News" section on the homepage. There is also a "Clinic changes" button on the clinic finder, which is also on the homepage.

The clinic finder enables users to search for clinic times and locations easily using:

• Yout postcode
• The area you live in
• The day of the week.

In addition, the service offers booked appointments for contraception, genito-urinary medicine and HIV.

Please ask the patient to call the service if they would like to make an appointment as booked appointments are not listed on the website.
