Through partnership with patients, carers, families and other agencies the District Nursing Service aims to promote and maintain optimum independence. We aim to provide education, and offer support and skilled nursing to those whose care needs are best met within the community or primary care setting.
The service provides skilled nursing care to the many housebound people in the area. Patients who are unable to visit the Doctors surgery to see a Nurse due to illness or disability will receive a home visit.

Our Community Physiotherapists can be accessed via your doctor and are able to do home visits.
There is a social worker attached to the surgery who meets with the doctors monthly, call 01794 526000.
Patients over 65 years of age and those with diabetes or a disability are entitled to NHS chiropody at Romsey Hospital.
Self referrals are accepted (forms available at reception) or you can discuss it with your doctor.

The midwives attached to our surgery are based at Romsey Hospital. If you are pregnant, please consult your doctor initially who will discuss the arrangements for your antenatal care and delivery with you.
